His non-profit organizations have been serving the Santa Clarita community for over a decade. Gilabert's community outreach programs and youth initiatives are designed to help those in need. We do not require that you belong to any particular religious affiliation or financially support our organization in any way. We do ask that you return one good deed with another and perform an act of kindness. This way, the cycle of compassion and goodwill continues indefinitely.

His non-profit organization is a proud supporter of the Domestic Violence Center for Women and Children in Valencia, CA.

College Education

Keith Gilabert attended San Diego State University as a Political Science major, but changed his major to Accounting and Finance after attending a lecture by self-made billionaire and currency trader George Soros. He then enrolled in a highly coveted college internship with Prudential Securities in 1993.  Upon completion of his internship, Keith was offered employment opportunities with several high profile firms. 

Fund Management Beginnings

He felt that working for large brokerage firms and selling proprietary products was not in his clients' best interest.  Gilabert studied the markets, saw trading patterns develop, and began to trade individual equities for his clients. This led him to create a fund that would exploit the inefficiencies of the stock market.  The fund strategy became an instant success with investors.  The returns he generated were in excess of 100% in some years.  In 2002, one of the most difficult trading environments ever recorded, his fund returned 15% for his clients.

An Interest In Racing

He isn’t all business. One of his passions and favorite subjects is vintage racing and Formula 1. It was only natural that Gilabert lead a vintage rally team. Gilabert explains, "The navigator is the captain, the driver is the helmsman. The driver’s job is to drive smoothly and quickly, follow instructions precisely. The navigator’s job is to interpret the route book as accurately as possible and convey that information clearly.” There are a few tricks to vintage rally navigating. He also cautions “When driving a classic 45-year-old Ferrari, your odometer may not exactly agree with the odometer of the rallymeister’s new Mercedes SLS. Figure out the standard deviation as quickly as possible on the first leg, so you can make mileage corrections as you go along.”  When asked what is the most memorable part of the vintage rally, Gilabert says,  “Taking a vintage Ferrari up the California coast is one of the most amazing experiences you will ever have.”
